The
Global Diversity Option allows investors to select a wide diversity
of funds, both geographically and by sector, by a simple tick on
the application form. The current split of funds is shown below
and represents investment across 3 fund managers, 6 different funds
and dozens of different countries. Investment is in equal shares
across the 6 funds. Diversification allows us to benefit from opportunities
as they arise around the world. It reduces risk by “hedging
our bets” against adverse movements in currencies and markets
and therefore limiting exposure to any one geographical area or
market sector.
